Happy Blue Monday
Today we are starting 2012 with Sweet Smiling Sally
and to top that off we will celebrate
the fabulous color Blue .
Wow can this year get any better ?

This is a nod to my cousin Cheryl Lynn .
She is the one with the bat :)
I'm sorry that the image is not clear
but it is a scan of a copy sent to me
from a dear relative whom like myself is technology impaired ,
Yet loves the color blue ,
that should count for something .
Once upon a time long long ago there was a family that gathered rain or shine
every Sunday afternoon for some family fun.
Depending upon the time of year we played all manner of sports.
Rode horses,motorcycles,went fishing,picked fruit had picnics etc....
In our family the girls often out played the boys.
We were tough due to the fact there were always more girls than boys .
Had the boys out numbered the girls we might have played with dolls :)
Anyhoo this photo shows my dear cousin Cheryl Lynn and her love of Blue .
Until I began to look through old family photos this past week
I did not realize all the photos show Cheryl Lynn dressed in blue .
All year round she dressed in blue .
She is the daughter of the same precious aunt who traveled on a train ,
than a bus,later a taxi
with a larger than life Blue Huckleberry Hound to give to my son his first Christmas .
Yes I am from the south and we all have two first names .
We also have family nick names but that's another story .
