Something To Ponder
The Window Through Which We Look
A young couple moves into a new neighborhood.
The next morning while they are eating breakfast,
The young woman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside.
"That laundry is not very clean", she said.
"She doesn't know how to wash correctly.
Perhaps she needs better laundry soap."
Her husband looked on, but remained silent.
Every time the neighbor would hang her wash to dry,
the young woman would make the same comments.
About a month later, the woman was surprised to see a
Nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband:
"Look , she has learned how to wash correctly.
I wonder who taught her this ."
The husband said , "I got up early this morning and
cleaned the windows."
And so it is with life.
What we see when watching others
depends on the purity of the window through which we look.
Have a wonderful weekend .
Until next time
Happy Trails

Welcome Back Cowgirl
Love this post !
This story is perfect!
Hi Terry Sweetie....
I love, LOVE this share. Isn't it something what we see through the windows of our home? Our hearts?
So special is this share. Thank you for posting it. I wish more people washed their windows. Wouldn't it be amazing at what they might see?
Hope you are well sweet girl. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
I understand all about the dirty windows. Mine were washed some time ago and it looked like I did not have windows. They do not look like that now. If my neighbors were hanging cloths on a line, they would look dirty. You find some of the best quotes and stories.
Great post!
What a great lesson and reminder.
Lisa :O)
Always have to check ourselves first don't we?
GREAT lesson!
Yikes! That strikes a cord.
It's perspective.
Thanks for your warm wishes and faithful prayers. I'm home now. God IS good!
Sally
This story is definitely food for thought. Thanks for sharing.
Hey, girl! How are you? I've been sparse in blogland as of late...I'm writing to thank you for all the wonderful comments you've written over time, and for being so sweet to my darling sissy, queen of hearts, Clytie.
Take care, dear Terry. You are such a dear. ((hugs))
I have not visited you in so long, only to come find an amazing life lesson. Thanks for sharing it. I might print it off and put it someplace as a reminder to myself.
